Dive Into Your Imagination founder and PADI Instructor Annie Crawley has created an innovative program to help you bring scuba diving into the schools of your community. This webinar focuses on ways of easily reaching an important market by using teachers to promote scuba diving in their classrooms. Annie will personally walk you through a brief introduction to the program where children become virtual scuba divers during science and literacy classes, as well as show you how you can build relationships with teachers and schools – a vital community resource. Whether you have a youth program or are looking to develop one, you will be able to use this information to help grow and enhance your business.
After three years of work with a team of educators, Dive Into Your Imagination has completed three sets of educator guides for the school and home school market incorporating ocean education, multimedia, and scuba diving. The educator guides are revolutionary for the scuba diving industry because they bring scuba diving to the classroom via teachers, the change agents in every community. We targeted the Pre K-K and 1st to 3rd Grade market because they have a natural love for the ocean and all of it’s animals. We realized the need to create a program in which we taught the parents and educators about the ocean so they could bring it to their students. The program combines ocean literacy standards with science, math, literacy, social studies, art, character education while adding a special behavior component in which students use imagination play to become scuba divers, scientists, submarine pilots, dolphins and more. These materials are fun, creative, and a way for you to get involved by bringing scuba diving into the hearts of the next generation, the future of our business. In this program, you will learn how to reach your entire community with very little effort by getting others involved in reaching out to this community.
